Guest speakers will be Jim Sattler and Bill Pentler from the Albuquerque Open Space Division.
Albuquerque Road Runners Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
Club members are encouraged to attend ARR's monthly meetings to learn what's happening in the running community, and to find out what the Club has accomplished and has planned for the month. At meetings, you can socialize with old friends and make new connections.
Prospective and new members are welcome to attend and introduce themselves, meet fellow runners, and get involved with the many fun and rewarding activities the Club has to offer. Meetings generally last about an hour and often feature a speaker and refreshments.

July 2018 Meeting
The July meeting included a presentation by Joseph Karnes and Abraham Kosgei of Santa Fe Thunder and Global Running Culture. These entertaining speakers discussed 1) the Santa Fe Thunder Half Marathon and 5K coming up on September 16, 2) Abraham Kosgei's career as an athlete, and 3) Global Running Culture - a nonprofit organization dedicated to "bettering the lives of youth through the powers of sport and education".
