REGISTER FOR WOMEN IN TRAINING 2015
A ten-week program to prepare beginning women runners, run-walkers, and walkers for their first 5K race, the Albuquerque Road Runner's Women's Distance Festival in July.
Women of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in this program, from beginners to intermediate and advanced runners.
Participants meet for group sessions where mentors from the Albuquerque Road Runners Club lead warm-up exercises and running or walking workouts designed to help new and returning participants improve form, endurance, and strength. Optional group runs will be held three times a week during the 10 week training program.

Details about WIT 2015:
WIT training will have three different training plans this year:
BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE, and ADVANCED.
The intermediate and advanced programs will have speed work or interval work included in their schedules.
Participants will meet
Monday and Thursday evenings -- 5:30 pm
Saturday mornings -- 8:30 am
at various locations around town.
Heart & Sole Sports (San Mateo location)
Tuesday, April 7th -- 5:30 to 7:00 pm
There will be snacks and mentors!
WIT participants will get a 10% discount there.
We will also do a Saturday run from the Heart & Sole Eubank location at some point during the season, and they will put on a shoe clinic and short talk on other running gear.
Bosque Running Shop
Saturday, May 9th -- 8:00 am
We will go for our first run and then come back to BRS for a shoe clinic. WIT will get a 20% discount that day.
