ABQ Girlfriends on the Run (an ARR partner)
Sponsored by Sports and Wellness. This is a group of women who love running and love it more with a girlfriend! We recognize that a women's physical fitness changes dramatically throughout her life, impacted by college, career, marriage, pregnancy, motherhood, divorce, death. Running can be a powerful tool to help deal with life's events.
Calendar Meetups (aka workouts) can be any type of running (trail, speed, gym treadmill, jogging stroller, dogs in tow) and anything related to fitness (i.e., trail hike, bike ride, yoga class or gym time), because it all leads to being a better runner. Races are posted to the group's calendar where one or more members are participants or our sponsor is involved. Group members are encouraged to post their workouts on this calendar in hopes that a girlfriend will join in.
