This will be Kathy's eleventh year hosting this run at her home. Every year there’s a new course - variety, right? So no one knows for sure what to expect, but there WILL be hills...and probably more hills!

Weather in April in Edgewood is unpredictable...it is always different on the East side of the mountains! Wind is usually a factor, and there could be rain or snow, so please be prepared with layers of clothing.
Dogs, please wait at your home for your parents.

SOME DETAILS:
- The course is about 6 miles on pavement and dirt trail.
- Keep your eyes open for fun and surprises!
- Elevation at start is 6930 feet.
- Great food and great company! Potluck afterwards. And prizes!
- And don't forget ARR's Forever Young Race is the next day in Placitas!

Directions from Central Ave & Tramway NE:
Smith's Grocery Store is a great place for a carpooling meet-up. It is about 30 minutes from there to Kathy's house.
  • Go East on I-40 to Sedillo Rd - Exit #181
  • At stop sign turn LEFT/East. You are now on old Route 66.
  • Or instead of the freeway take Old Route 66 aka Hwy 333 from Albuquerque or Tijeras.
  • Go 1.5 miles and turn LEFT/North onto Mountain Valley Rd.
  • Go 1.8 miles. You will see a "dormitory-style" house on the right.
  • Turn RIGHT onto Berta Drive.
  • #17 is the third house on the left, just past Mercer Lane.
  • PLEASE, everybody park on the shoulder on the north side of the road (the side Kathy's house is on) so that her neighbors can still drive down the road.
