The February handicap will be held at La Cumbre Brewing Company (3313 Girard Blvd NE). This month's run will be a tribute/memorial to Stephen Malone who passed away suddenly in January. Both Stephen and his wife, Jackie, have been handicap and beer run regulars so we thought this would be a fitting tribute to him. Walkers will start at 11 am and runners will begin right after. This will be timed just the same as our normal handicaps (slower runners/walkers first and faster ones last). Afterwards, we'll have a potluck at the brewery and beer will be available for purchase. Bring some food to share.
If this is your first handicap run, please contact Shannon Zanelli at 505-822-5006 to let her know your normal 5K time (NOT your estimated time for the course) so your start time can be calculated.
